Today I went to a cemetery
To give thanks for those who've touched my soul

Today I was alone
Time to reflect and give thanks for everything I have

Today I ate rice and beans for Thanksgiving
I give thanks for the food that I do have

Today I saw the homeless
I give thanks for having a roof over my head

Today I saw a rabbi walking by
I pray and give thanks for my deep beliefs

Today I was away from all family
I was able to reflect and give thanks for my children

I have much to be Thankful for

I give thanks to the Lord my God
